What Did The Ancient Israelites Look Like?
| . Genesis chapters 10 & 11 gives us the details of Noah's three sons, Shem, Ham, & Japheth and how the whole world is populated through them. Ham is the father of Cush (Ethiopia) Mizraim (Egypt) Phut (Libya) and Canaan. These four sons are of whom the continent of Africa is populated. One of these sons, Egypt (Mizraim- Genesis 49:8-11) is one nation of whom the Israelites have been physically likened to time and time again. Understand first that Egypt is a name given by the Greeks which mean "black". Also, in many paintings and artifacts made BEFORE 3rd century AD, you'll see that the Egyptians are a dark African people. Joseph is one of the sons of Jacob/Israel and he was made to be the vice-ruler in Egypt. Joseph looked so much like the Egyptians that even his own brothers could not distinguish him from the Egyptians.Genesis 42:7-8 And Joseph saw his brethren, and he knew them, but made himself strange unto them, and spake roughly unto them;... And Joseph knew his brethren, but they knew not him. v23 And they knew not that Joseph understood them; for he spake unto them by an interpreter. Genesis 43:32-33 . . . and said, Set on bread. And they set on for him by himself, and for them by themselves, and for the Egyptians, which did eat with him, by themselves: because the Egyptians might not eat bread with the Hebrews; for that is an abomination unto the Egyptians. And they sat before him, the firstborn according to his birthright,... Now, the brothers are wondering why Joseph isn’t eating with the other Egyptians. Joseph, eventually reveals himself to his brothers, and the Israelites moved out of the land of Canaan into Egypt. Years later, in Egypt, the Israelites were enslaved by the Egyptians.While in Midian Moses defended the daughters of Reuel, the priest of Midian. When Reuel asked his daughters how they happened to water the flock so soon. Exodus 2:19 And they said, An EGYPTIAN delivered us out of the hand of the shepherds, . . . | Moses was as Joseph before, an Israelite mistakened for an Egyptian. Now if Moses was white, or any other color than black, would Reuel’s daughters thought that Moses was an Egyptian? Of course not. Now after Yahuwah instructs Moses concerning his mission to deliver Israel out of Egypt, Yahuwah give Moses powerful signs whereby he would cause the Israelites to believe that Yahuwah sent him. One of the two signs was featured in the movies but the greater of the two signs was not. Exodus 4:2-3,6-8 And Yahuwah said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, a rod. And he said, Cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent . . . (This sign was in the movie(s), the next sign was not) . . . And Yahuwah said furthermore unto him, Put now thine hand into thine bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom: and when he took it out, behold his hand was leprous as snow. Now why didn’t Charlton Heston perform THIS sign? And he said, Put thine hand into thy bosom again. And he put his hand into his bosom again . . . | . . . and, behold, it was turned again as his other flesh.So neither Jacob, nor Joseph, nor Moses, looked “red” like the Jewish (Edomites) people, or white like the Gentiles. They were black like the Egyptians. Moses sister, Miriam, spoke out against Moses because he had married an ETHIOPIAN woman. This is what Yahuwah did to Miriam. Numbers 12:10 And the cloud departed from off the tabernacle; and behold, Miriam became leprous, white as snow Now if Miriam was white or “red,” why did he turn her white? Why not turn her the same color as the Ethiopian woman since she made herself to be better than her? Miriam was ALREADY the same color of the Ethiopian woman, so he turned her white instead. MORMONS... are you listening?! Even the apostle Paul was mistaken for an Egyptian. Acts 21:37-39 And as Paul was to be led into the castle, he said unto the chief captain, May I speak unto thee? Who said, Canst thou speak Greek? ART NOT THOU THAT EGYPTIAN, which before . . . . . . But Paul said, I am a man which am a Jew . . . An Israelite have never been mistaken for any other nationality that wasn’t black. | When the Babylonians laid seige against Israel, the Israelites were in a famine. This is how the prophet Jeremiah described it. Lamentations 5:10 OUR SKIN WAS BLACK LIKE AN OVEN BECAUSE OF THE TERRIBLE FAMINE. When black people get sick, or starve for a long time, they get darker. When white (Je-wish) or “red” people get sick or don’t eat they get pale. Concerning Yahshua, (whom MANY call "Jesus") When he was a child, his parents hid him among the black Egyptians as they were saving his life from the Edomite King Herod. Here is how he is described in Revelation:14-15 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; What type of people have feet and skin of burnt brass? The same type of people whose origins are from the continient that is known today as Africa. It is clear based on scriptures and history that the Israelites are a people of BURNT brass skin tone just as the ancient Egyptians were. Egypt today is made up of Arabs. Some "scholars" today try to make these Arabs to be the direct descendents of the ancient Egyptians... but that's another lesson entirely.
